What State?

NYC only allows tint on the rear windscreen on personal vehicles unless it’s a SUV/Truck then you get to do the rear passenger windows. I’ve got tints on every window including my windshield and never had a cop say anything about it and I just got pulled over last Wednesday for driving spiritedly (no ticket tho!). Just don’t drive around like a dick with limo tint and you’ll be fine.

Michigan. Tints are just asking for a reason to get pulled over it seems. I also can’t stand having it on the windows, rear windshield and not the front. I like full around symmetry, and the only way to get the front windscreen tinted is a prescription and I’m not about to lie for it just so I can have it. And it seems like even the lightest tint is ticket worthy, it’s just not worth the risks to me.

Damn to need a prescription for tint is pretty lame. I’ve got 50% all around because I too like symmetry.

Nah I got pulled over by the D’s (unmarked car) on the night before Thanksgiving. I was on a local two lane road at the front of a red light intersection and this dude in a Civic pulls into the parking lane on my right to jump ahead of me. There’s nothing I hate more than people who do that especially since there was only 2 cars behind me. So once the light went green I smoked him (only went up to about 45) then I made a light that I needed up ahead to make a right hand turn and when I took the turn they lit me up. Didn’t realize they were the car behind me because my stupid mirrors autodim. I saw it was them when I made the right hand turn and looked in my right side view mirror. Saw the Impala with black steelies and knew it was them.

Cops were cool though I can’t even lie. He asked for my id/reg/insurance but never ran it or gave it to anyone he just stood there talking to me. Asked me if I was in a rush, where was I coming from, have I drank anything tonight etc. Once he saw that I wasn’t drunk and that I was like 5 mins away from my house he said for me to have a good Thanksgiving and to take it easy on the street. No detectives were going to write me up for speeding I knew that from jump but I’m sure they thought I could’ve been under the influence or possibly trying to outrun them once they saw I wasn’t they let me go.
